2014 International Conference on Remediation and Management of Soil and Groundwater Contaminated Sites
Over 600 participants from 17 countries will attend "2014 International Conference on Remediation and Management of Soil and Groundwater Contaminated Sites", according to the press service of Environmental Protection Administration, R.O.C. (Taiwan). The conference held on November 26-28, 2014 in Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall with more than 60 speeches and 80 academic posters.
The major contents of the conference include: Innovative Survey Techniques of Soil, Groundwater and Sediment Contaminated Sites; Fate and Transportation of Pollutants of Soil, Groundwater and Sediment Contaminated Sites; Risk Assessment of Soil, Groundwater and Sediment Contaminated Sites; Innovative Remediation Techniques of Soil, Groundwater and Sediment Contaminated Sites; Management Strategies of Soil, Groundwater and Sediment Contaminated Sites; Green and Sustainable Remediation of Soil, Groundwater and Sediment Contaminated Sites; Survey and Remediation of mining pollution of Soil, Groundwater and Sediment Contaminated Sites; and Phytoremediation .
The Conference is organized by the Taiwan Association of Soil and Groundwater Environmental Protection and sponsored by the Soil and Groundwater Remediation Fund Management Board of the Environmental Protection Administration, R.O.C.(Taiwan) to celebrate the 14th anniversary of the promulgation of the Soil and Groundwater Remediation Act in Taiwan.
